Baigui Sun

Baigui Sun, a Master of Computer Science from Zhejiang University, completed his degree in 2014 under the guidance of Professors Guofeng Zhang and Hujun Bao. He brings a wealth of experience to the field, with over ten years at Alibaba dedicated to AI research and development. His tenure included a three-year stint with Taobao's Technology and Search Business Divisions, as well as a seven-year role at Alibaba's DAMO Academy and Tongyi. He has been recognized with accolades such as the Taobao Technology Best Newcomer Award and the Alibaba Open Source Pioneer Award. His contributions to the field are marked by his work on groundbreaking applications: Pailitao, pioneering the large-scale application of image search in e-commerce and setting industry standards. DeepCTR, an innovative deep learning-based search recommendation system that has been a trendsetter in the industry. Face Recognition, which is widely applied in DingTalk's attendance machines and the Alibaba Cloud API. FaceChain, an open-source project that has gained popularity for its digital human portrait features.
